The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the direction of moving forward with Phase II of the society’s feasibility study.
Discussion was held on the various challenges facing the society and it was decided a meeting between, land owner Dan Blankenship, Danny Hennigar and Gordon Phillips would be arranged. The meeting will be a working lunch at the Oak Island Resort to be arranged by Danny Hennigar. The cost of the lunch will be covered by the Oak Island Tourism Society. Gordon Phillips and Danny Hennigar will present possible options/scenarios the society may or may not pursue. These options may be of interest to Mr. Blankenship’s mandate for Oak Island development. The directors are cautiously optimistic Mr. Blankenship will be agreeable to the options put forward and look forward to working with him to further make the mandate of the society a reality.
